It Must Be Jelly

Co-written by Chummy MacGregor (Miller's pianist) & George "The Silver Fox" Williams (who wrote extensively Ray Anthony) this Glenn Miller chart is both an excellent swing chart, as well as being a lot of fun. Opening in half-time the chart picks up into a lively swing tempo with the Piano taking the first improvised solo chorus. Then the whole brass section get their chance to sing the tune. There are solos for 1st Tenor, 2nd Trumpet & 1st Alto (all written out in full), followed by a ripping sax soli.  Baritone doubles Alto.
